Visiting a farm can be an exciting and enjoyable way to learn and find out where your food comes from. Foel farm welcomes school visits and brings alive the rural world for children and teachers. We offer hands on experience of a working farm the students will remember.

Through its links with the National Farmers Union’s Farming and Countryside Education programme Foel Farm makes available to teachers quality educational resource material. By visiting the Curriculum Page on the Farming and Countryside Education website you will find curriculum materials arranged in Key Stages and subjects that can be downloaded.
They are available in Word and portable document format (PDF). The materials include the links food and farming have with the National Curriculum and QCA Schemes of Work, reworked units in the style of the QCA Schemes of Work, materials to support examinations and case studies. |
